September Sale on Tubing Supplies

We have an excellent sale going on right now during the entire month of September for tubing.  There is a 15 to 24 percent discount for all tubing and mainline.  I have most  tubing supplies in stock in Taylors Falls. September and October is an excellent time to repair and replace lines and is a beautiful time to be in the woods as the leaves begin to  turn color.   I am also preparing for the late fall and winter sale for all maple syruping supplies.  I will be coordinating with Roth Sugar Bush to offer the same February sale prices.    Thank-you for your continued support.   Don

Spring Sale is On!!! Selected CDl equipment and supplies up to 15% off through June 3,2016

The spring sale is on now through June 3.  Here how it works.   You get 5% off any product that CDL makes when your order is less than $5,000.  You get an additional 5% off if you pay cash, check or credit card, at the time of order, prior to June 3.  If you order more than $5,000, then you would get an additional 5% off for a total of 15%.   For example if you were to buy a $10,000 evaporator, your final cost would be $8,500 if you paid for it in full by June 3.   This would be an excellent time to purchase new maple equipment for next year.  The sale is better than I had expected (10 %)  so call me for your equipment questions and needs.  Delivery of the equipment is typically in August, September time frame.   Remember the Minnesota Maple Syrup Producers meeting on May 21 this month at the University of Minnesota’s Arboretum.

Have a great week,

Don

Wholesale Maple Syrup prices drop again this year

The wholesale price of maple syrup has dropped again this year from $2.25 per pound to $2.10 per pound.  Maple syrup weighs 11 pounds per gallon, thus the buy price is about $23.00 per gallon. I believe the low exchange rate with the Canadian dollar is the primary reason for the fall in prices.  Oh well, this price will not effect what our youth group will charge for syrup this year on the retail end of things.  Our quart price will remain at $15.00 and pints are $9.00.  All of our equipment is now washed and put away for the season and I am looking forward to the spring sale from CDL. I am hoping for a discount somewhere north of 15% but that might be wishful thinking.  I will post on my blog when I know what it is and be looking in the mail for a flyer from Roth Sugar Bush.
